ROAD TRIP 2007- DAY 1 - Santa Fe, New Mexico
zootsuit posted video:
The first leg of our journey took us from Denver, Colorado to Santa Fe, New Mexico. I love Adobe architecture and possibly took too many pics of it!! We went off the beaten path and found an amazing chapel on a hill, built of adobe bricks and lodge poles in 1688.

Thank you very much for watching
sorry…didn’t mean to dampen your joy.Your pictures are beautiful and actually, watching the place this way is kind of wonderful.
Well, I’m just a white tourist who was passing through and really enjoyed what I saw and experienced. Every city has history … everything changes, for better or worse.
santa fe used to be hispanic, indians mexicans artists.People had an authentic, earthy elegance ant the place had atmosphere. Now it is all angloized, dreary mean and depressing. What is worse is the phoney political correctness of all these sanctmonious whites towards other outsiders,as if they are protecting it from outside influenes.
Santa fe gets old fast.Pass through and leave…..If you spend any significant time there you’ll puke………….
that morada (thanks for the lesson) was in Santa Fe. I got off the main road just north of the city, barely a mile from the downtown area
The little churches are called moradas and may be found in many of the Northern New Mexico towns. They’re very important to many people. The morada you captured is indeed beautiful do remember what town it was at? Many of them are still used today to celebrate feasts and Holy Days.
thanks for looking and choosing favorites! the church on the hill was amazing and I found it by accident while driving around lost
My favorite photos were of the red chile ristras, the chile is always so so good. Also the little morada at the top of the hill and the nicho with a statue of the Blessed Mother.

I love you Santa Fe!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ha!! it’s a great drive and a cool city, drive up to the Taos Pueblo if you get the chance - worth a look!
thats insane im leaving from denver colorado to sante fe this sunday
I love New Mexico and will always remember by visit there.
New Mexico and it’s surrounding territories will always be the Apache and Navajo nations historical claim. Nobody else can say that they were the original feet to tread that land.
as true new mexicans we must rise up and reclaim our land and our pride, we must throw out these americans who know nothing of history, and have occupiedthis noble land for far too long.
New Mexico is Spanish, Mexican, and Native American… To get hung up on dates of official Mexican control is ignorant… This land is Hispano…And always will be…
New Mexico was occupied by Mexico for a total of 12 days LOL Read some history and taste your words before you spit them out.
everyone is mixed you nerd…
