I don’t think it’s asthma because my lungs aren’t weezy what could it be???? I’v never had this problem and I used my wifes inhaler and it still didn’t help what else could cause breathing problems besides asthma? Please HELP!!!

Go see your doctor. It may be something other than a lung problem. By the way a person can have asthma without wheezing.

It’s hard to say, did you fly? Are you having any chest pains? You could be experiencing walking pneumonia. If you flew, the difference in pressure in the plane could have affected your lungs. If your wife’s inhaler is doing nothing for you, I’d advise you to see your doctor.

First off, never use someone’s inhaler (or other meds) unless you have been prescribed it yourself. You could make matters worse in doing so.
Its time to go to the ER. Seriously.

Some pollutants in your room can cause this. Immediately go to balcony and take deep breath. Look for some perfumes or any cosmetic that can give you allergies. Isolate them and throw them out. If your room is air-conditioned, flush the air once in a day. Wet cloths and dresses, old books, paper inside the room and lot of our bad habits can cause this breathlessness even to young boys.

For grownups, your wife’s hair can be culprit. The smell of the hair, especially it is oiled can cause severe problems both for adults and kids sleeping nearby.

You have to have your O2 saturation tested. That means you have to find out how much oxygen is in your blood. It’s a very simple test. The number should be over 90. 95 is excellent. My oxygen level varies from 86-88. I never wheeze, but if I exert a lot of energy I get very tired. My pulmonary (lung) doctor wants me on oxygen 24/7. But I cheat and only use it when I feel that I need it. I’m a firm believer in this advice: ALWAYS LISTEN TO YOUR BODY. You can have your blood pressure AND your oxygen level checked at any fire station for free. Do that, or make an appt. ASAP with your doctor, to see what’s going on. I wish you luck. :)
