In Albuquerque:

1.) Botanic gardens and aquatic park (a lot of fun)
2.) Natural history museum (AWESOME)
3.) Petroglyph National Monument (on the west side of town)

Between Albuquerque and Santa Fe (near Cochiti Pueblo)
1.) Tent Rocks (hiking but it’s fun)

Santa Fe:
1.) Bandelier National Monument
2.) Chapel of Loretto (miracle staircase)
3.) Santa Fe Childrens Museum

Taos:
1.) Rio Grande Gorge and Taos Gorge Bridge (keep a handle on your children)
2.) Rio Grande National Wild and Scenic River Area if your interested in outdoors, fishing, etc..

Santa Fe and Taos have a lot of museums so I don’t know how excited your children will be to go to them but you know your children better than anyone.

You could also take the turquoise trail driving route from Albuquerque to Santa Fe..lots of stops along the way and fairly pretty drive.

Other Suggestions include

West of Albuquerque (about an hour away)
1.) El Malpais
2.) El Morro
3.) Acoma Pueblo

I personally am not a big fan of Santa Fe and Taos because they are overpriced and do not represent New Mexico…It says something when the natives do not like to go there.
